We treat adult individuals and couples, including Swedish and British expats living in California, and are available to work with you on a broad range of issues to help you overcome some of life’s toughest mental and spiritual health challenges. Our therapists use a holistic evidence-based treatment style where they integrate modern psychological and neurological science, including somatic experience, with eastern and western ancient wisdom. Our therapists see very good results in many of their clients as they grow emotionally and behaviourally, often transforming themselves to lead more present, authentic, satisfying and meaningful lives.
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” – Viktor E. Frankl
I was referred to Isobel by a friend after I lost my job as a tech executive and for the first time in my life experienced intense overwhelming shame and confusion. Isobel created such a safe, warm space, it felt easy to open up to her. She also taught me practical Mindfulness tools and techniques to help me navigate my thoughts and emotions better. I not only got my life back again, I got a more evolved and happy version of myself back. I highly recommend Isobel to anyone seeking compassionate, skilled and wise effective support in their personal growth and mental health journey.

As a US expat in London struggling with anxiety and relationship issues, I’ve had a great experience with Isobel as my therapist. She has a warm demeanor, listens without judgment, and gives me practical tools to manage my anxiety and improve my communication. She is practically American but with the added cultural depth of a native European. Highly recommended.
